A highly successful informational event on agrivoltaic systems up to 200kW was held with significant participation from the agricultural community. The event was organized by the General Agricultural Cooperative of Ioannina in collaboration with ALESCO.
The strong turnout and active engagement of attendees highlighted the growing interest of the agricultural sector in the new regulatory framework, while also underscoring the need for reliable information regarding the development opportunities offered by agrivoltaic projects.
During the event, ALESCO presented the new legislative framework in detail, along with detailed techno-economic analyses for 100kW and 200kW agrivoltaic projects.Through realistic business plan simulations, participants gained valuable insights based on actual market data regarding:
- Total investment cost
- Payback period
- Cash flow projections
- Expected project returns
Representatives of ALPHA BANK then presented specialized financing tools and banking solutions designed specifically to support farmers and agricultural businesses interested in participating in the program.
The event continued with presentations from M. STAVRIDIS & CO and HUAWEI, which showcased modern technical and product solutions for agrivoltaic systems, with a particular focus on applications up to 200kW. The presentations highlighted the technological capabilities and specialized infrastructure required for the successful implementation of such projects.
The event was characterized by strong audience interaction, a large number of questions, and highly positive feedback from farmers and agricultural professionals in attendance.
